| Since breaking ground with a wildcat well in South Texas in 1972, the Sanchez Group has developed a proven track record of identifying, acquiring, and executing large drilling programs over the course of 40 years of operations. The group has drilled or participated in the drilling of over 900 wells in the North America, and maintains long standing relationships with surface and mineral rights owners. Sanchez Energy Corporation was formed in 2011 and recently completed its initial public offering with a focus on drilling in the Eagle Ford shale trend of Southern Texas. Sanchez Energy Corporation has established a strong presence in this trend and expects to be highly productive in this trend leveraging significant technological assets and its elite team of experienced professionals.
