Tony Sanchez III, FOUNDER, PRESIDENT, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Antonio R. Sanchez III has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since the company’s formation in August 2011 and has been directly involved in the oil and gas industry for over 12 years.  Mr. Sanchez is the President of Sanchez Oil & Gas Corporation (SOG) and a Managing Director of Sanchez Energy Partners I (SEP I). In his capacities as an officer of these members of the Sanchez Group, Mr. Sanchez over sees all aspects of daily operations, including, exploration, production, engineering and land management. Prior experiences include JP Morgan Investment Banking (Mergers & Acquisitions) from 1997 – 1999 and Zix Corporation, a Dallas based public technology firm where he continues to serve on the Board of Directors. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgetown University with a concentration in accounting and finance and a minor in economics and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. 

Joseph R. DeDominic, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT and CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Joseph DeDominic has served as Sr. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since November 2012. Mr. DeDominic has 25 years of experience in the energy industry and prior to joining Sanchez, he served as President and General Manager, Williston Business Unit for Occidental Oil and Gas. During his tenure at Oxy, Mr. DeDominic served in positions of increasing responsibility ranging from Chief Geologist Colombia to Exploration Manager Libya and Director, Business Development and North America Growth, where he lead Oxy’s entry into the Williston Basin. Mr. DeDominic has a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from the University of Montana and a Master of Science in Geology from Texas A & M University.

Michael G. Long, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT and CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mr. Long has served as our Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary since our formation in August 2011. Mr. Long is also the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of SOG; he joined Sanchez in June 2008. Mr. Long has more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry and has served in various senior positions with private and public oil and gas companies.  Prior to joining the Sanchez Group, Mr. Long was the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for Edge Petroleum Corporation for 12 years until May 2008. From 1996 to 1997, Mr. Long was the Vice President of Finance for W&T Offshore Incorporated. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Master of Science in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana.

Kirsten A. Hink, Vice President - Principal Accounting Officer

Mrs. Hink has over 20 years experience in accounting and financial reporting in the Oil and Gas industry.  Prior to joining Sanchez, Mrs. Hink served as the Controller of Vanguard Natural Resources, LLC from 2011 to 2012, where she oversaw the company’s financial reporting and accounting. Prior experience also includes serving as Assistant Controller of Mariner Energy, Inc. in 2010, Chief Accounting Officer for Edge Petroleum Corporation from 2008 to 2009, and the Vice President and Controller for Edge from 2003 to 2008. Mrs. Hink received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Trinity University. Mrs. Hink is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

Patrick Talamas, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT - EXPLORATION 

Mr. Talamas has served as Senior Vice President – Exploration since June 2011. Mr. Talamas has over 30 years’ experience exploring for oil and gas.  He joined Sanchez in July 2008 as Exploration Manager. Prior to coming on board, Mr. Talamas served as Vice President - Exploration at Ameritex Minerals and Exploration.  Mr. Talamas also worked as an Exploration Geologist at Cairn Energy USA and Maxus Energy Corp.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin and attended Graduate School - Dept. of Geosciences at The University of Texas at Dallas.

William M. Satterfield, VICE PRESIDENT – GEOSCIENCES  

Mr. Satterfield has over twenty-four years of experience in exploration, development and management.  Prior to joining Sanchez, he was the CEO/COO of Solimar Energy (California) 2012 to 2013 and Technical Director at Hardy Oil and Gas Inc.(India) from 2010 to 2012. From 1988-2010, Mr. Satterfield was with Occidental Oil and Gas Corporation in positions of increasing responsibility. Mr. Satterfield’s experience ranged from Geologist (Domestic & International Exploration and Development), to Manager New Ventures, Exploration Manager – Colombia, and Geoscience Manager  -California.  He earned a Bachelor of Science, and Masters of Arts degree in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin. His diversified and successful experience, along with his focus on business development makes him an excellent addition to our leadership team. 

Frank Guerra, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, CONTROLLER

Mr. Guerra is the Executive Vice President and Controller and joined Sanchez in 1979.  His responsibilities include asset and liability management, financial planning and reporting, managing all accounting, lease records, reporting, and back-office functions. Mr. Guerra’s prior experience includes having been the internal auditor and accounting supervisor at Exxon Mobil. Mr. Guerra received his BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University. Mr. Guerra is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

Glenn Adcock, VICE PRESIDENT of OPERATIONS 

Mr. Adcock has over thirty years of experience managing drilling, completion and production operations and close to forty years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.  He has held similar positions of responsibility with Dominion, Burlington, KCS Resources and Union Texas Petroleum.  Glenn attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana where he received a BS in Petroleum Engineering.

Robert W. Ramsey, VICE PRESIDENT – LAND

Mr. Ramsey has over thirty years of experience managing Land operations. He has previous experience at companies such as Hanson Minerals and Tenneco Corporation.  He earned his B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
